I’m going to San Diego next week for our Anniversary...looking for nice restaurant suggestions and interesting things to do besides water sports and the zoo. Any suggestions? It’s a 3 night stay.

Ruth Chris for dinner...It is not cheap but the view is beautiful overlooking the Bay.  Go to Google and research their menu and you can get a feeling for what you might want.  Their food is delicious.  I no longer live in California but I send gift cards for Ruth Chris to my son and wife for their anniversary.  Check it out!  I grew up in SD and I am partial to the beautiful area, the climate and all the different things visitors can take advantage of.

@Whispergirl   If the weathers nice and your in Del Mar I would suggest outdoor oceanfront dining at The Poiseidon Restaurant or Jake"s Del Mar.  Have a great time 😎

If you enjoy Mexican food and a fun atmosphere, Casa De Bandini is a good place to go.  It's located in Carlsbad, which is a bit of a drive from San Diego proper, but worth it, IMO.  We visit San Diego frequently and it's always on our list.  (It is not a fast-food kind of place).

Across the bridge to Coronado and the Hotel Del Coronado. A short drive and not to be missed.

Try Casa Guadalajara for Mexican Food in San Diego Old Town.

Lot of good restaurants in the Gaslamp District.

There's Old Town, the Mission, going over to Coronado.
