I have been to Puerto Rico on day stops on cruises, as well as long island vacations there since the 70s. I try to go every year. We splurge and stay at Dorado Beach (old Rockefeller estate) that is a sunptious, beautiful eco-resort. FYI, the rates are crazy high but to us worth every penny.
