My daughter was there for a conference last month.  Very different lifestyle that here.  She loved it.

Thanks! I always plan my own itinerary,we travel around the whole country, 5 homebases, lots of walking, driving,eating, drinking.

Your pictures are beautiful. I can see that you had a really good time. What were the best things to do and best things to see? 

I am going in September and hope I have nice weather, too.

Thank you! Try to visit Porto, learn about port wines ( do tastings), Coimbra, Sintra, Cascais, Evora, Óbidos, Lisbon, Lagos. Arrange walking tours ( your hotels will help out), eat and drink, relax,enjoy. Get Rick Steves and other guides books, do some reading, see what would interest you. September should be good.
