Re: Need advice on Planning a Trip to Amish Country,Ohio

I've stayed in about 6 or 7 places over the years in my trips  to Amish country.  My recommendtion is Holmes With A View.  There is a single unit there (I think unit 5) that has the BEST view of Holmes county.  You can see for miles.  Their double units are, also, beautiful!

@Loveac

Is there a difference between the Lancaster, Pa & the Ohio Amish communities?

Mz iMac, I go to Lancaster often and love it there!  I have no idea if Ohio is similar, better, etc.  It will be my first trip there.

Lancaster has lots of Amish shops, Amish cooking, outlets, Sight n Sound, American Music Theater and beautiful country roads.

The one thing that Lancaster has that Ohio doesn't is a QVC outlet!❤️

Thanks to all who responded!

I have never been to Lancaster but it sounds like they are very similar.  You have received some great suggestions. I hope you have a lot of fun in my home state.
