Day 2: We left Davenport this morning and enjoyed time at Das Dutchman Essenhaus in Middlebury IN. Fun place to explore the Village Shops filled with unique gifts and collectible items.

Dinner in Holland, OH and Westlake , OH for the evening.

Tonight we'll be in Jersey 😊.  Long bus ride but having fun meeting new friends.

Diamond Tours is awesome for touring the country. They handle every detail for you. There should be two or three NYC guides waiting for us.

Day 3: We left Westlake OH at 8:30 am and had lunch along the way (can't remember the city) and then dinner at the Golden Corral in Whitehall.

Arrived in Edison, NJ around 8:15 tonight.

Tomorrow we meet our NYC step-on guide and the fun begins. We are beyond excited.

@OKPrincess Sounds like everything is going smoothly so far!  I'm excited for you!  Hope you have a great time....just stay as cool as you can. 

It's very hot & humid and it's going to be another H&H day tomorrow.  (I'm only an hour out of NYC in PA and we have similar weather).  Saturday is going to be very warm but things should cool off a bit on Sunday and the rest of the week....well compared to what it has been.

Day 4: Empire State Building (no tours), Rockefeller Center (got pic of Oklahoma flag), Grand Central Station, Central Park, Dallas BBQ, Macy's and a big traffic jam. You don't see that in Oklahoma

Some of my pics are too large to post, whatever that means. Try later. Off to 9/11 memorial and One World Observatory. Later.

@OKPrincess Did you get to go to the Top of the Rock at Rockefeller center?  The view is much better than the Empire state building.

Also, since lunch is on your own I suggest Blue Fin.I was there in May with my best friend, our annual girls trip to NYC.  

Totally agree with you about Blue Fin.  One of our favorite restaurants in the theater distrcit.
