Re: Luggage for Plane advice

After having the experience of not having suitcase arrive at my destination with me, I bring a carry-on with: meds, tolietries, a couple pairs of underwear, sweater or wrap, reading materials and snack.

I have a 24in and a 26in. suitcase.  Make sure to a put TSA approved lock on it.  I have various tote bags which I use as my carry-on.  Cloth and lightweight.  I put my purse under my seat.

Hangers add weight.  They will have hangers on the ship and if you need more, all you  have to do is ask your steward.

Re: Luggage for Plane advice

I use a 21" rollaboard with a matching tote which has a back strap to fit over the handle. The tote has pockets for my IDs, meds, makeup and travel docs and goes under the seat. I pack a handbag or two in my checked luggage or in the rollaboard if they fit.   Prefer this method to carrying on handbags and tote bags. no need to stow a nice handbag under the seat.
