I Have Such Smart Neighbors

My empty nest neighbors, who are experienced travelers and sports fans, looked at the crazy weather and delays this summer and decided to do something close to home. 

 

So they went to the Little League World Series in Williamsport PA to support a nearby team that had made the playoffs.

 

They came home with hearts full of happiness and a decision to do it again next year.

 

No stress. Easy to meet new people. A warm and positive family atmosphere.

 

You're never too old to try something new.

My DH has had his nose glued to the TV watching the Little League series and he is not even a baseball fan.  Those boys can play ball.

My DD an SIL are taking their 2 young Little Leaguers next year for a long weekend. They already looked at Hotels. 

We all really enjoyed watching the games on TV this year.
