DH and I have 2 sets of hardwired suitcases ( two 24" and two 21" cases) and a number of Lesportsac  reinforced nylon weekenders and totes that we use to meet each travel situation ( if going by air we might check-in two 24" cases and carryon 2 nylon or even pack two folded nylon for purchases and over weight situations).  The trunk of our primary car isn't large so we might use on 21" and pack overnite items ( hotel along the way) in nylon and so on.  We travel a great deal by air, ship and car so having luggage that meets a variety of needs works for us.

One American Tourister weekender and one full length garment bag for the fancy travel invites.  Looking to replace my cosmetic travel bag. 

Have a full size SUV and all road trips.

I have 3 but I tend to always end up using the largest one unless it's overnight.

The third one was what I purchased as my work anniversary gift.  There wasn't a lot to choose from so I ordered the suitcase figuring I would always be able to use it.  It's a samsonite.  Pretty nice, but they only had black.

Two weekender bags and one garment bag works for me.

Two; large Samsonite suitcases my parents bought in the 1970's.   My husband and I don't travel.

25" Samsonite clamshell and a 21" Travelpro rollaboard.    Travelpro Maxlite soft tote for my personal item.  In leiu of handbag i use an older Tumi crossbody and pack a nicer handbag for evening and several lightweight totes.

Air Travel these days.  Last roadtrip was 6 yrs ago,

I have 4 suitcases. A 29 inch one that I only used once when I visited Australia in 2018. I have 2 carry on rollerboards 20 inch ones. One has 2 wheels and one has 4 wheels. I don't use the 2 wheel one as it's hard to lug down the aisle of a jet. But I kept it just in case.

I also have a small hard side Heys rollerboard that is just storing unused knick knacks.

I have a set of 2 Samsonite hard luggage. One is a carry-on size and the other has to be checked. I almost never use the larger one.
