Has anyone stayed at the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City?

We are planning a trip to the Borgata in June.  I've never been to Atlantic City and would love to here from anyone who has stayed/played at the Borgata.

The Borgata is probably one of the nicest hotels/casinos in AC.  The downside is that you're not able to walk to the boardwalk-- you have to drive or take a cab.  The other downside is that there's very little outdoor space at the hotel.

Love to hear

When I lose the TV controller, it's always in some remote destination.

Yesterday on "The Chew" , they said that Michael Simon just opened  a restaurant there.

What k9buddy said is correct.  AC has gone down hill in general for years now. The Borgata is about as goods as it gets over there.  Also, stay within the hotel and boardwalk area.  The neighborhood is not that great.

Hi @Trudey I love the Borgata! I think it has the largest casino floor of any of the casinos in Atlantic City and is a beautiful hotel. The security is great, you have to show your room key to get to the elevators to the rooms. It is away from the other casinos, however you can take the jitney to all of them. It's about $2.25 each way per person and I believe it runs all night. Enjoy!! Alice QVC Social Team

Just returned from a short stay there. It IS the nicest hotel/casino in AC and has the best atmosphere.  I agree with what K9buddy has stated. You must drive or take a jitney to get to the boardwalk. There is an outlet shopping mall just west of Caesers if you would like to take advantage of that.

We stayed there over Easter weekend two years ago, the hotel is beautiful and during the Summer they have a nice outdoor deck with music. I would like to suggest The Pirates Den in near by Brigantine for breakfast

We got an offer from Fly Borgata that includes flight and accommodations.  Too good to pass up.  I think it will be a great getaway and I'm excited to go somewhere that I haven't been before.  We've got dinner reservations at Bobby Flay's Steakhouse and Wolfgang Puck's American Grille.

love Borgata!!! Exceptional restaurants but we prefer buffet. Rooms are beautiful (we stay in suite), love the spa and very nice atmosphere.

Many years ago Harrahs was my fav but I seem to get great incentives from Borgata - and AC Boardwalk isn't to me so great now that most of the casinos are gone.  Still love Wildwood Boardwalk & beaches.

Enjoy!!!!
