Hello fellow travelers.  Can anyone reccommend a decent hotel in the Colorado Springs area that won't break the bank?  Only staying for a couple of nights.

Thank you for your help.

@Travone  I lived in Colorado Springs a few years back,  its so beautiful!   I would recommend the following choices for hotels:  Garden of the Gods Resort and Club.

The Academy Hotel Colorado Springs.

Drury Inn and Suites Colorado Springs

Hampton Inn and Suites

Also, I would recommend you visiting the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Colorado Springs.  Its a beautiful zoo with magnificent mountain views.

Enjoy your visit!

😵 I've heard that Overlook Hotel is quite lovely this time of the year.

The Broadmoor and the Garden of the Gods are two good ones!

@We rescue cats than you.  Those both look like very nice places. I'm there for a short time and will need something more affordable

Sadly things are so expensive now, you can easily spend $2 thousand on a weekend trip with air,  car, and hotel.

@Travone  It's been a while since I've been there.  Used to travel there for work.  We always stayed at one of the chain hotels to meet the per diem limit we had.  Very suitable for travel there.

The Broadmoor is a beautiful place, especially the grounds.  Needless to say it was not within our allowed expense limit.  We did go there though and just walked around the hotel.  Do stop and have a look if you can.  So beautiful, especially at dusk when the sun is setting behind the mountains.  The lake in the back and scenery is spectacular at that time of day!  If your budget allows, maybe have brunch there.  Safe travels!
