Another nod to the Drury Inn.  The Broadmoor is amazing, but comes at a price.

@sophiesofers  i want to thank you for your suggestions.   I finally booked my trip and I will be staying at the Hampton.  The Drury was sold out for the weekend I am there.   I used credit card miles and the Hampton was less than the Academy.   I'm only there for a few days.  Thanks again for your help.

@Travone    You are very welcome my friend!  If you have a chance, go visit the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs.  It is an amazing zoo!  Have a great time and safe travels!

Interested to see two recommendations for the Zoo.  I spent a week in CS  and the zoo was one of my favorite things there - great views and a nice, not overwhelming zoon.
