Re: BEST HOTELS AT CHRISTMAS TIME?

Highly recommnd The Greenbriar Resort in West Virginia. We stayed there in October and it was a wonderful experience. Very historical, beautiful setting, service was outstanding, numerous restaurants and activities, rooms were beautiful. Beautiful drive to get there as well, however, you can also take a train! There is an Amtrak station right across the street from the resort.

Dont waste your time at The Homestead. We went there last Fall and were very disappointed. Lousy service and very odd accounting practices. Our final bill at check out was completely screwed up. Was still fighting with them weeks after we left. Will never go back.

I suggest The Beekman Hotel in NYC on Nassau.  A historic building, amazing architecture, art collection and Tom Colicchio restaurants all make for a wonderfully memorable stay!

Enjoy!

@qvc chick  The Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons.  I stayed at both of these hotels and there is nothing like them.  Service is superior, beds and pillow are exceptional and food is delicious.  They usually have weekend packages with a discount on the room.  Sometimes you need to treat yourself -- it is well worth it.  Happy Holidays!

Every hotel casino in Atlantic City.

What about your complaint of being on a fixed income & paying for your hair cut price increase/promotion at your hair salon? Ritz Carlton & Four Seasons & you're complaining?
