Aerial America, love this t.v. show.

This one is about roadside attractions.  Some we've been to, some we've driven on (Rt 66), and we've seen Mt. Rushmore, and The Sitting Bull (?) rock sculpture.  Or is it Geronomo?  I think that's it.

Speaking of Rt. 66,  Do you remember that black and white t.v. show so long ago now?

I love it, too @QualityGal

I turn it on while doing something else, then find myself mesmerized.

I've also watched Aerial Africa.    Enormous continent and I learned things I didn't know.

The monument in process is Crazy Horse.

@QualityGal

I haven't seen Aerial America, but was a fan of Route 66 with Marty Milner and George Maharis.

Aerial America is one of our favorite shows. So many hidden gems in each state that makes me want to start planning vacations. I think we have watched it from the beginning.

@software Yes, that's who that is Crazy Horse.  I have the worst time remembering that name.  It's so impressive though isn't it!?

Yes, but sad I will never live long enough to see it finished.

I loved the show, but when I cut back on my cable, I lost the channel.  Too bad.  Really enjoyed learning about parts of our country I may never see.

Me too, one of my favorites to watch and now I really have some additional traveling to do.
