I was born in China but came to America as a child. I currently live in the East Coat. I was wondering if there are any places close by to see a big statue of a Foo Dog. I want to be a sculptor, the same as my dad, and love the architecture and art of this type of statue! I was searching online and found a cool article about the meaning behind Foo Dogs:

I know these statues are in China but I'm not interested in traveling that long of distance to see them.

@Addicted to Decorating - I have Chinese friends (who like you came here as children) who work in Philadelphia, so I have visited them and gone to Chinatown there. They have two big statues somewhere in Chinatown. I would imagine NYC and Washington, D.C. also have them. Good luck!
