Perhaps Bethlehem Lights and QVC didn't want to eat the shipping costs for a 12' tree? That might be why there may have been less of the 9' trees than the other sizes. The standard shipping costs on the 7.5' tree to my address would have been around $51, according to the shipping cost that initially came up on my screen when I ordered.
