really want these, scared of sizing

Hello! I've been watching and looking at Vionics for quite sometime, drooling over them. I have plantar fisciitis (not sure on the spelling) and a few other "foot" and "knee" issues. I just wish I could walk without pain. I am gaining more weight because the pain is getting worse...an endless vicious cycle.  I want to try these but I am afraid of the sizing. I currently have in my closet  shoes that 6 1/2, 7, and 7 1/2 ! Most are medium width with 1 or 2 exceptions. I don't think I have a wide foot and like I said I have 1 or 2 pair that wide. However, I do have a few pair of shoes that are very tight and should be wider (ugh). I'm just  not sure what to get! I really want the Today's Special value mocasin but I'm also in love with the tennis shoe and the sandle and the slippers! I'd order several of each if I just knew what size! I'm also going to order some inserts for both me and my son! He's a big teen and his foot leans over very badly! Anyway...guidance on what size I should order and what width!!! Thanks for suggestions! Also....what kind of fee would I be looking at paying if I did need to return a pair due to sizing? Thanks!!!

Gday @AShoppin.  There is nothing to fear but fear itself.  And foot pain !!!  Sounds to me like 7 is the safest bet and go for the medium.  I am not sure on return fees so I would call QVC customer service to ask and then place an order with them if your happy.  But hopefully you wont have to returnSmiley Happy

Thanks

If unsure, go to another retailer who offers free shipping and free returns so you can try sizes without all the costs that Q will charge you.   shoebuy, onlineshoes are my favs.

Re: really want these, scared of sizing

I wear a M and when I tried the Vionic the M was fine.  Just a would of warning.  I had super high hope for this brand becasue I have back and foot issues.  These are the most painful shoe I have ever put on.  After 1 week of trying to wear them off & one, it took a month of chiropractic care and massage therapy before the pain got back to my "normal"  My chiropractor looked at them and said don't ever do something like this again.  She , my podiatrist, and spine specialist recommend Birks, Naots, or other really well built brands.  I found the pair I bought to be cheaply made.

Re: really want these, scared of sizing

I have an old pair of Naot and Birks when I had my first round of PF many years ago.  Both brands are fine.  However I really didn't care for the look of Birks so after a few years I stopped wearing them.  PF pain came back and I started wearing Orthaheels.

Now I have over a dozen pairs of Vionic/Orthaheels...between slippers, sandals, flats and sneakers.  I hope to get a pair of booties this fall.  For me I like the way they look and I have found them to be very comfortable.  Best of all my PF is gone.

Bottom line....everyone's foot is different.  You don't know what will work for you if you don't give it a try.
