Whatever happened to using cotton? It is a definite NO for me.

Those sayings seem sort of pointless to me, and yes, cotton is a much better idea! PIMA cotton. Like LL Bean has.

I don't think using cottong would give the flowy look she wants the top to have. I love the tops and the fabric she uses are sooooooo soft and comfy.

I'm not a fan of word shirts, but it seems like they're very popular lately.

I have no desire to be seen in public in a shirt with cute little words printed on it.

I purchased a PLW short sleeve shark-bite flared hem tee-shirt about a month ago to wear to Zumba class. I took it on a cruise because it made a loose, cool, easy to wear top for a hot day.
My top is black, and says "Cool People Smile", which I frankly think is kind of a silly thing to say. I LOVE everything else about this shirt.
The first day I wore it on our cruise, 2 strangers said "I like your shirt".
Later in the day we had to walk through the casino to get to our destination. I grabbed a breath to get through the awful smoke stink and by the time we were able to exit the casino, my face had morphed into a distinct grimace as I ran out of air.
A woman passed me going in the opposite direction, patted my shoulder and said "You must not be very nice"!
It took me a minute to relate what she said to the words on my bosom!!

I love the word shirts. However, I see that company has had bad reviews on the material before, that its made cheap. So, i will pass. I agree use better material. Plus Qs clothing in general has gotten very expensive IMO. So I have to really love something to buy it. (I do not work anymore and lead a casual lifestyle unless going to some special events). So I can do better shopping locally for clothing.

I am not interested in buying shirts with words on them. I don't need to advertise my feelings on a shirt. The way I treat people is what is revelant.
To me, this is a waste of money. It is a gimmick and eventually will be in the donation pile.

@Kachina624 How right you are! I wouldn't be caught dead in those shirts. What rags they are.

I'll be honest. Going totally against what I normally would buy, I would actually get the pink "love each other" shirt because I love the saying. I never buy shirts with sayings on them.
But...... I'm NOT getting it because I don't want to have to put my thumb in a vise contraption thing. That would drive me absolutely nuts. Deal breaker for me.
Considering what the average age probably is of the QVC shopper, a thumb holder? Really????
