iFrogz Truly Wireless Sweat-Resistant Earbuds with Charging Case

[ Edited ]

iFrogz Truly Wireless Sweat-Resistant Earbuds with Charging Case

TSV coming up soon. You can preorder now.

These are the newest of this line and new design. I have looking for a pair that would be rose gold also.

Has anyone else had this brand before? They are to be an upcoming TSV.

Two pair for $99.96. They charge in the case and come with three sets of cushions for your ear to make a comfort fit.

Thanks for any feedback.

Re: iFrogz Truly Wireless Sweat-Resistant Earbuds with Charging Case

I was really interested in those and checked online for reviews. I couldn't find any for the iFrogs Premiere, which the TSV is, but I found some for the iFrogz Pro. They look identical and the specs are very similar, but the Premiere is shown as having a 30-Hour battery and the Pro a 20-hour. (Keep in mind, that's the earbuds and the case. The Premiere earbuds seem to have a life of 5 hours and then you need to put them back in the case to recharge. Once the case is depleted, you need to recharge the case and the earbuds.)

Here's a review of the iFrogz Pro earbuds from a site I generally trust for good reviews: https://the-gadgeteer.com/2019/10/09/ifrogz-airtime-pro-truly-wireless-stem-earbuds-review/

I'm curious, though. The iFrogz site lists the Pro version at $69.99 and the Premiere version at $169.99. That means QVC is somehow selling nearly $340 worth of product for $99.96. If it seems too good t be true, maybe it is.

After reading about the iFrogs Pros and before QVC listed the Premiers

as a TSV, I made the decision to purchase some Soundcore Liberty Air 2s from Anker, a brand whose batteries and cables I've been buying for years now. Here's the review that helped me make that decision: https://www.cnet.com/reviews/anker-soundcore-liberty-air-2-review/

I got them on sale for 20% off the $99.99 price with free shipping.

Re: iFrogz Truly Wireless Sweat-Resistant Earbuds with Charging Case

I checked reviews on Amazon and ruled them out. decided I'd rather go old school and got the Bose TSV. I don't like things in my ear plus worry about losing buds. if I did want buds, I would go for another brand.

good luck!

I think they are a great deal. One pair on their website is $79 and its not the latest model

I think the only thing that matters is how they feel in the ear

have tried different kinds

for me the apple style is the most comfortable

I found a knock pair of faux pods that work just great for my uses

I too was wondering how these would work.  My kids asked for AirPods but I can't spend that much money x 3 boys so I ordered these hoping they suffice.  Personally I find the Apple ear buds very uncomortable and need the smallest  ear cushion available to fit my ears

Re: iFrogz Truly Wireless Sweat-Resistant Earbuds with Charging Case

My 11 year old son asked for wireless airbuds and since he has a Samsung galaxy phone he cannot use Apple airpods. I am thinking of ordering these for him. One thing to note if you are purchasing this set to give to 2 different recipients if one of the sets breaks or is defective then you would have to retrieve the other set and return both sets for a refund/replacement. QVC touts buying sets and give 1/keep 1 but who wants to ask the recipient for their gift back if one item out of the set doesn't work.

Re: iFrogz Truly Wireless Sweat-Resistant Earbuds with Charging Case

I was cleaning my computer desk and in a mug I keep odds and ends in I found my Apple EarPods that I bought several years ago.

I plugged them into my iPad and they are perfect. They are wired but no problem.

I just ordered another new Apple pair on eBay that plug into my other iPad.

Guess I am glad I hadn’t ordered the TSV. I also remembered that with my new iPad I received a rose gold pair in the bundle that came with it from HSN. They are Bluetooth so I guess I am set. I do like the Apple ones better but the Rose gold ones are a good back-up and have a good sound.

The TSV jogged my memory to look and see if I still had them.

Sometimes I pass them on to my grandchildren. 😊

I bought the rose gold which came with a black pair. I absolute LOVE these ear buds. I have 2 other brands that don't feel nearly as comfortable or sound nearly as good. These are keepers, and I will give the black pair to my son for Christmas. I just bought him a new phone as an early Christmas gift, so this will be a nice gift to go with it.

I ended up ordering the pearl/black set for my 11 year old son. He has a Samsung phone so he cannot get airpods. Fingers crossed these work out for him.
