Re: Wicker Park Garden Spheres TSV 3/26

For those who think these spheres remind you of the corona virus, if you split them in half and order in a color other than red/pink you may get this thought out of your mind!

You guys are cracking me up with the virus remarks!  I was thinking of ordering now hmmmm.  I did order faux roses from wicker park and they are beautiful, ordered for myself and my daughter.  I didnt tell my husband I ordered them and put them on the front porch and a few weeks later he said those have no smell!  He leaned down to smell them lol that is how real they look.  Unfortunately those are sold out now.

I just don't understand why they make them completely round.  They aren't *believable* to me.

If they made them shaped more like real plants, I can see someone getting the satisfaction of a maintance free flower/shrub.

But round balls that can be split in half just seems like a Dollar Store find.

Re: Wicker Park Garden Spheres TSV 3/26

I do love faux greenery.

But these scream plastic to me. I cannot get past the shiny leaves and flowers.  Not even from far away could I think these look real.  They look like the very reason faux flowers get a bad rap.

Is it the lights of the studio?  Perhaps, but even in the still photos online it looks too perfectly shaped and plastic.  They keep saying, "in person they look so realistic."  I hope they do; for those who are purchasing -- enjoy.

I did pick up the Barbara King 20" succulent wreath. Hopefully it looks just a great to me in person as it does online.

I think these spheres look unnatural, ugly, and fake. I can't believe they are being sold and that people like them.

OMG! You are right! Maybe that’s the reason I thought they were ugly!

Re: Wicker Park Garden Spheres TSV 3/26

I was a non believer of these faux spheres until I bought the Bougainvillea ones by Wicker Park and now I wish I had gotten them a long time ago! I can’t wait till the nicer weather gets here because they look Outstanding in the tall black urns I ordered from Valerie couple years ago. I’ve always put real flowers in them but sun and wind and too much watering, not enough watering just drives me crazy cause I want my flowers to look perfect and they end up with petals falling off, turning yellow etc! I have wasted more time and energy trying to fertilize and keep them alive that I realize my time is more valuable. There’s enough to worry about in life that I don’t need anything more. Love my Faux Wicker Park spheres! 🌺
