I ordered it today.

I have had an AT&T phone for at least 20 years, different phones, same number, which I hope I am able to transfer.

I'm tired of paying $80 a month.   I do have a generous plan but I don't use my phone  much for talking, text or data.

I hope to retire in about a year and I'm trying to pare down my budget as low as possible.

I currently have a Samsung S3, about 4 years old.   I love it but I don't love the bill.

Let me do an edit here.   You can buy Tracphone anywhere but I think only through QVC can you get the triple minutes, etc.    That's what sealed the deal for me.

I bought it the last time it was a TSV and I'm very happy with it.  This phone has a newer operating system than my phone.  Oh well, technology is always changing.

I think it's probably fine if you only need the phone for rare emergencies. But the total data they give you for the year is the amount I use in a month. Not that I'm looking to switch, I love my iphone.

Tracfones are available all over with triple minutes. It's the starting bundle that you won't find in stores. Also, WiFi is available virtually everywhere these days, which will help preserve that "bank." And $5 per 1000 texts is a good deal, too.

I don't know of any place where you don't get triple minutes.  I got my phone from HSN and have for many years.  Always get triple minutes.  I just recently bought a Samsung TracFone from them...very user friendly.

I just ordered 3 of them today, my family has had Verizon for years, all have smart phones with all the bells & whistles and we pay $380 a month. My children are 24 and 26 so I hoping these phones will give them the ability to have their own phone with their own phone plan vs. all of us sharing. They will now be responible for adding minutes to their own phones.  Well see how it works out.

I have  one of QVC's previous TSVs for this brand of phone.  Received notification recently that my phone will  soon no longer work when upgrades are done in my area.  I think I may order this new phone.  I seldom use it so the minutes that come with it will last the year.

I bought it with the leopard case. I love my current tracfone. No I dont use it as much as most because I am at home a lot and no longer work so when at home Im on my laptop a a lot.

BUT I love it for snapchat, instagram, pictures, videos, and I go on the internet when out and about and never ran out of any minutes for talk, text, or data. I just add a card about every 3 or 4 months and it keeps piling up with talk, text, data. Better than those over priced cellphone plans!

So I hope I like this one just as much as the one I have now. I am looking forward to getting it!

@MoJoV, I'm with you - right on the brink.  I'm definately going to get a tracfone as I'm sick of the monthly bill I get as I'm not a big phone user.  My dilemma is the LG vs. Samsung.   DH swears by his Samsung and I have no experience with either.  Any of you gals have any suggestions or input?  Thanks in advance.
