@Unhooked42.  I would think they did contact the winners and this is for the people who did not win but want to know the winners. I may be wrong on this.

They were listing winners (first names and what state they were from) before you got to spin the wheel.  So, why not just list the first name and state of the $25,000 winner.  I don't get it!
