@Goldengate8361 I make a smoothie every morning.  Couldn't do it before my Vitamix.... The blender took forever, and did a terrible job!   The frozen fruits didn't get processed properly, and it was a mess.  Also, skins from the blueberries didn't pulverize in a regular blender.  Well, hopefully you get the idea.

My aunt knows about my smoothies, and when I went to visit her the last time, she had all the ingredients..... unsweetened soy milk, frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, bananas (which I freeze), honey, and cinnamon.  What she didn't have was a Vitamix.  Just a standard blender.  Nothing blended properly, and it was awful!

Regular blenders don't get the job done, even for a smoothie, the way a Vitamix does, and the Vitamix does so much more.  I hope (and expect) mine to last many more years.  But, if something were to happen to it, I'd replace it in a heartbeat.

Can't believe I'm so passionate about this machine, but I am!  LOL

Only 8,800 sold as of 3:30pm. I think sales are underwhelming. People are sick of watching the same Vitamix over and over with that Jan Mueller.

I purchased a VitaMix some years ago.  Loved it and used it often.  About four years ago a beloved granddaughter who was expecting her first began to make eyes at the machine.  Gave it to her happily and Baby No. 1 had most of his food prepared via the Vita Mix.  Today he is a voracious eater, healthy and growing like a weed. Today his little brother is  dining daily on VitaMix pepared food. They say they saved a ton of money over the cost of buying prepared baby foods, and are pleased that they know what they are feeding their children. Now a grandson is enjoying the same thing, feeding his little daughterr with my VitaMix. So I purchased another for me. Next granddaughter asked for a VitaMix as a wedding gift, so I bought another. I think I've bought six or seven of them. All are working beautifully and treasured.  I just promised my current one - a 750 - to a daughter who has been eyeing it for some time.  So today I ordered the TSV.  Expensive, yes. But I am getting older and appreciate the self timer involved.  Looking forward to gettiing it. I will no doubt be buying more of them since I still have 7 unmarried grandchildren. But I know they'll still be

using those machines long after I am gone.  MONEY WELL SPENT!  GO FOR IT, BUT COMMIT YOURSELF TO USE IT FULLY.

Does anyone know why the Vitamix guy is the only person on QVC to wear one of those microphones close to his mouth?

I've never seen anyone else ever wear one?

I can't tell you how many blenders I went through until I got my Vita Mix 6 years ago. I could not function without it, I use it daily for smoothies and I make my own oat and almond milk too. I had to pull my husband away from the TV today, he wanted the new model.LOL

Own & love the Vitamix but thought this may help some smoothie lovers. For small quantities(unless you have the personal vitamix, the S50); the nutrininja works great for small quantities. Its the Nutri Ninja Nutri Bowl DUO with Auto-iQ Boost. Its a chopper, blender in one. It was available on the Q but now I see it on zulily sometimes.
