If you've wanted a Vitamix, I'd go for it!  I bought the TSV last November & it was $70 more!  I'm pretty annoyed!  It looks like the same

Vitamix & $70 is a lot of money.  To see it so inexpensive so soon is quite distressing!

Compare your model number, @LIPearl.

There's a reason for the difference in price between that TSV and today's TSP.

QVC has offered several different model numbers of Vitamix over the years.

Yes, you're right.  The recent TSV is 2 speeds where mine has many more.  Not that it's a big deal as the price was considerably less.  I see the newer one didn't get great reviews & a number of purchasers preferred their Ninjas.  This is my second Vitamix from QVC.  I purchased the 7500 as it is shorter to fit under cabinets & also included the dry container.  I haven't tried the dry yet, but expect to get some use from it.  Purchased separately, the dry container is around $100 alone!  Since it can sit comfortably on my counter, I leave it out so it's getting more use.  I always had the bigger one stored away so used it infrequently.
