Re: Vionic TSV - October 24, 2023

It's a cute boot but I've had so many problems with the fit on Vionics that I no longer buy them.

If they work for you, I hope you enjoy them.

That's a very cute book @rockygems123 I like the foldover faux fur collar.  My mom had a pair of dressy ankle boots when I was growing up. I think they were Naturalizers but its too long ago for me to remember. I do remember I always thought she looked so nice dressed up for church in her wool coat & these short boots with the little heel.

funny isn't it, the things we remember?  I guess I'm missing her even more than usual when a photo brings up a memory like this.

Ugly and I'm so tired of all these rubber soled shoes these days.  The biggest tripping hazzard in my life, lol.  Carpet is the worst, but really, rubber will catch on anything and trip a person up.  Bring back the leather soled and heeled shoes!!

I like them.  I particularly like navy because I wear jeans so much.  But the price is too rich for my blood.

They do not look comfortable at all.  When I try on Vionics at our Dept. store, I find all their footbeds hard and miserable.  I wish it wasn't so. Cat Sad

Absolutely no cushion.

That metatarsal dome they use in shoes with heels is very painful for me as i had a Mortons neuroma nerve surgically snipped years ago. Plus, Vionic fit is very unpredictable now. Good luck.

@Jk9. I find I wear this style more often as classic  tailored  and streamlined. I am going for more and more of that look as can be dressed up or down. I ordered the navy as wear jeans alot and thought it would give a sleek longer monochromatic  leg look.

Comfort is important as you mentioned and if not I wont wear tne boots or shoes and they get donated.

@GinaV24

I can picture what you described, what a nice look, wool coat and short boots.

Wish I could find it, we have a pic of my mom wearing the same thing.  And in Manhattan no less.  They knew how to dress then didn't they.
