Meredith Lawrence posted a video about the TSV air fryer to show how to open and close the drawer so it will go in and out of the air fryer easier. She also addresses the basket problem and the insert divider and how to use it. Maybe this will help before you send yours back.

I saw this! I am so glad she posted this. It's too bad they couldn't have communicated this during the on air presentation. After watching the video I can see where people could have had difficulty with the drawer. They need to add supplementary instructions apparently to any future shipments or they are going to have a ton of these on their hands.

Well that's - too late - too late for me - plus I don't use facebook. I received my airfryer yesterday and couple hours ago the post office picked it up for the return. I bought one for a friend but haven't heard from her yet. The problem: getting the lock to relase so the fryer basket and the solid one can come apart. I tried everything to make it work including talking to customer service twice. I read the REVIEWS too late and now see this is a common problem and complaint. Had bad luck with Cooks Essential pressure cooker too - tried 2 machines and gave up. So now I wouldn't touch a CE with a ten foot pole. Brand named manufacturers for me now! Beware folks.

Thx for sharing. I already have 2 of the smaller air fryer + ordered the larger fryer. DH had to have one to take to work. Have not had any problems so far.
I already knew all the info on the video except about using the divider insert piece on top to keep bread from a grilled cheese etc from flying off. LOL!!! I did have that problem. It does make a good grilled cheese. I think her toothpick trick will work just the same with less cleanup.
I really like using the Air Fryer vs using oil if we want something fried.

That's too bad, though I feel the same way about concierge collection after being burned on a TSV from them and then having to pay return shipping for a defective TERRIBLE comforter if you can even call it that. I have the smaller CE air fryer and it is GREAT. I don't think anyone had problems with that one at all. I am still on the fence about keeping my order (I am on the delayed shipment for my color) - all of those reviews make me nervous even though I love my air fryer so much.
