Upcoming TSV Pop-it Shelving...any experiences?

I know a lot of people love the Origami brand shelving that is sold elsewhere.

I never heard of this Pop-it brand.

And in a quick search, it doesn't seem to be all that great of a TSV price when you see some of the prices elsewhere for the Origami.

Anyone have any experience with either or both of these brands? I could use some shelving in the basement, but this Pop-it brand looks rather cheap. Maybe I should just keep going to Sam's Club and get the heavy duty stuff.

I have (and love) several Origami shelves.  They are the TS today on the southern channel.  Two shelving units/free shipping.  They usually have free or reduced shipping on all Origiami if it's a TS.

The Origami is the TS on HSN today, and with free shipping, which in itself, is a pretty big savings over the Q price.  I will only buy the Origami brand, largely because their quality is so impressive that I don't wish to buy any other brand.

I have one of the large tall Origami shelves and purchased two smaller, narrower versions for elderly parents to use as a "shuttle" - to help them get things from room to room these days when they don't wallk with much confidence.  I purchased the smaller shelves from HSN.  You can often find the same items that HSN offers on Amazon at equivalent prices with free shipping.  The shelves are sturdy and easy to assemble.

In my experience, it doesn't make much sense to purchase the shelves unless you also purchase the little plastic shelf covers with magnetic tabs that hold them in place.  I suppose you could also fashion some yourself very easily after a visit to the craft store.

I suppose the shelves would be OK for storing only boxed items without the shelf covers, but that is not how our family uses them.

I also don't see how they would be much use without the wheels that make them easy to move around.

The original Origami is the best...wouldn't buy any other brand...its solid....sturdy...I wish i had someplace to buy more...When i first got mine there wasn't color choices..I love the new colors...I walked around my place at midnight to see if i had any room for more...sorry to say..no...

I heard them say at midnight they always have this as a TS at the first of the  year...were any of you watching at midnight when the woman called in and said she had about 24 of them....

Its a great price and the free shipping is wonderful...don't hesitate to purchase....if you are in need of shelving...

I would stick with the original - Origami - knock offs never quite made the grade.  Origami is excellent - built very well, easy to put together, and cost effective.

Add my vote for Origami!  My favorite is the small "shoe rack" style.... Absolutely love it.

The pop-up shelves do not hold the weight that the origami does, not even close.  Personal experience is you can't go wrong with Origami and as others have already shared, it's the TS on HSN.

In the summer, I even take my short origami shelf out and leave it on my deck and it still looks new.

I too vote for Origami, I have a 4 shelf one that is sturdy, and best of all no assembly. I got it on Amazon when it was a daily deal.
