Can I smoke the bird first (1 hour or so) before deep frying, and if so, how will it affect the taste?

I wonder if you can call the company for specifics like that or if they have a web site. Sometimes things aren't mentioned in all presentations and they could answer the best. I've watched presentations before a few times, and maybe it'll be answered in a second or third demonstration. Different hosts, sometimes, different questions to maker. Just a thought.
