HSN has a todays special deal with a tracfone. Unlimited talk and text with the year service. But they don't say if after the 1 year you can get the same deal with a 1 year service plan. Kinda makes you think that you'd have to end up paying a monthly charge for the unlimited talk and text.?

I bought a Tracfone for my husband with unlimited text and calls this past summer. It is good for one year.

After the year is up, I plan to buy another Tracphone, hopefully with unlimited texts and minutes at a decent price.

It is less expensive to just replace the whole phone rather than purchase a new plan and use your existing phone.

I never pay for a monthly plan and don't intend to as long as I can find a phone with a one year plan for less than $100 a year.

Tracfone has unlimited plans with different prices.

They have a 1yr unlimited talk, text, 12 GB data for $144.

I don't see one with 24 GB data?

I usually take reviews with a grain of salt, because many times, it is an id10t error, but there are several 1 star reviews that say the same thing about this phone.  It would give me cause to pause on its purchase.

Call HSN and ask.  I have a Tracfone and love it.  I have a yearly plan (not unlimited) and I can add on whatever I need during the year.  I have only needed to add data which is cheap.

I've had a yearly Tracfone plan for about eight years.

Just found out last month that I have unlimited data. Previously, I would have to add data once or twice a year. The cost of my plan hasn't increased, so I'm happy.

I only use Tracfones. A couple of years ago I realized how much I was spending for a landline and cell phone and decided the cell phone bill had to go. I buy a new Tract one once a year and I'm saving hundreds of dollars a year. I've already purchased HSN's TS and hold it until my current plan expires in January.  Love it!

It's not listed on the Tracfone website.

HSN is offering it as their today's special.

@Carmie

I know it's the HSN TS. The original poster said they are not saying if you can get the same deal after the one year service.

I was showing her what it will cost to refill her phone after the one year.  Most just buy another phone.

I did see this phone doesn't have good reviews. I would not buy it myself?
