Tomorrow 10/28/2024 Joan Rivers TSV

[ Edited ]

Bitsy Jennings is doing a Joan Rivers show on Q2 and leaked tomorrow's TSV.

It's going to be a sparkly JR blazer.   QVC has gone from no sparkly holiday clothes a few years ago to an over-supply today.  They must think we're  a bunch of party animals.

You are too funny!

I shop sales at Talbots and they are full of the same sparkly fashions this season.  I wait for sales there and get really great deals  Today it was 50% off any one item and free shipping on anything online.  I got a cashmere sweater for $65. and they carry almost everything in Petite which works best for me.  They also give rewards if you use their credit card.  I find their sale prices are pretty close to Kim Gravels everyday price but Talbots having petite fit me better.

Sparkly is what I am seeing at other retailers.  Definitely the trend this year.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

I agree, love Talbot's sales too and their pricing is very competitive with a better product most of the time.

Went yesterday and bought a cotton blend button motif cable knit sweater 1/2 off of the sale price of 70, original price was 95.  Used my $25 style reward with a final price paid $12 including tax.  It's a great sweater and I'll be going back for more colors.

Age makes all the difference . Talbot's has the Glitter tops as other fashions avenues do . People do have functions to attend , and since it is the holidays one needs to take advantage. You only live ones , not all of us want to show our age .

I guess they all got the sparkly memo - Issac and Kim  and D&C have all had sparkly items.  I should be so lucky to need more party clothes!

@Kachina624  Smiley LOL  I'm seeing sequins and all things sparkle at every fashion retailer I shop -- heavy on the sparkle.   They supply what the demand asks.  People are going out again, or staying in for home get-togethers, and making them festive.

Happens every year...

Plaids for fall

Sparkles for holiday

Florals for spring/summer

Oh darn! I have zero use for a sparkly blazer. I'm not surprised though, as the holidays are coming. I'm just not the sparkly clothing type.
