What am I missing here, it says the Laurie Felt jeans are pull on, yet there is a functional button closure??!!  Maybe I do not understand "pull-on"???!!!

@redwingsgal.  Pull on means there's no zipper.  The button can give a little ease in the waist but in most cases the wearer will probably never use the button.

No zipper, working button only.  Pull on yes, you can pull them on yet you have the option of belt loos to wear a belt.  For me that is key for me cuz I am very tiny and I need a belt.  Laurie makes great jeans and considers all options for everyone.

The button closure might be needed for those who need extra room to get them on, for instance someone who is fuller in the hip and thighs.
