Today’s Special Value Russell Stover

I would love to see the Russell Stover Today's Special Value offered in a Sugar Free option. The QVC family surely must include diabetics.

That is a great idea.  I know people these would be perfect for if sugar free.

FYI - CVS has a lot of sugar-free options for Russell Stover.

I'm not diabetic, but I find Russell Stover candy way too sweet for my tastes. All I taste is sugar, sugar, sugar, with a dash of poor quality chocolate & fake flavor. I bet they made much higher quality candy in the 1950's.

Last box of Russell Stover I purchased at grocery store was so bad we threw it in trash. Cheap chocolate, very waxy, at least my box was.

I was always able to find larger size bags of the sugar free RS in Walmart for my Mom, she loved them.

Chocolates would have to be pretty bad for me to throw them in the trash.  Smiley Happy

Also noteworthy - The Russell Stover rep with Pat is named Russell.

Re: Today’s Special Value Russell Stover

I purchased a different version of this a few years ago from QVC to give as gifts to friends.  Each person I gave them to laughed and said something like "just what I need  -  more candy".  I understand, most of us are trying to eat healthy and watch what we eat, but I was still rather disappointed that no one seemed happy to receive candy as a gift.

I'm glad that my list of those I give gifts to is smaller than years ago as I seem to have a hard time to find the "perfect" gift.

There is a Harry London's/Fannie May chocolate factory near me.  They have wonderful chocolates and pass out free samples!

I rarely gift candy anymore for the same reason. Candy used to be such a special treat at the holidays; today people are more health conscious, at least in my family. Everyone has cookies out and no one takes candy when I put it out.
