For those wearing them for period protection, it's likely they'll end up stained.  Expensive and stained?  👎

Yes, the crotch is black, but we all know that leaks don't just happen there.  I'm sure many of us have experienced leaks up the front, up the back, and out the sides.

I would say these types of panties would be good for when you are in a situation where you are not able to change a traditional panty liner or when you plan on being away from a bathroom to change one, for instance while travelling.

The rep said the way these are designed so that wont happen, but who knows? I would rather leak onto a panty liner than my panties.

@Group 5 minus 1 this would be the worst purchase ever- if you don't wash them with the Lysol in your wash water you will never get rid of the bacteria and possibly the smell- pads work very nicely, or see your physician and check on medications for urine leakage- but these panties, really they are nuts

I agree.  Also great for young girls just starting this journey.

That's what pantyliners are for.  If you cannot change a pantyliner, you cannot change these panties either.  Who wants to sit in 4 tsps of liquid?

I know the presentation had the panty holding the liquid.  But wouldn't the pressure of the body sitting or walking in these ooze the liquid out (sorry, if TMI)?

Most women know if they have these types of issues/instances or not, and know when to use a pantyliner.  If it's a daily concern, then I guess she's going to wear these types of panties every single day. Sort of the step right before Depends. Then I would think she needs something she can change out throughout the day.  Not these.

When I was young and having periods....or when I was going through menopause....these might have been helpful for spotting, or accidents... but they were not something available at those times of my life. Maybe worth trying....they are pretty....
