Thoughts on Emeril's Air Fryer vs Cooks Essentials TSV

Do any of you have either one and can give an evaluation.  I know the price is different.  Sometimes I am not too sure about Cook's.  Thank you.  Unexpectedly flipped on to an infomercial today with the Phillips brand selling one for $49.99.  Would worry about that one.

IMO: Emeril's products have always been superior to the competition-worth the extra price.

Emeril's container is .5 larger than the tsv, I did not check the footprint, also you do not get the cooking rack.

I have the Philips Air Fryer that i bought maybe 2.5 years ago ($249????)...I use it 4-6 times a week for everything! One problem with the Philips is the basket that you place the food in and the drip container...NOT the easiest thing to clean with cooked on food stuck to the basket and dry hard grease hiding in the nooks and crannies of the drip tray! The Cook's Esssentials model looks so much better for ease of cleaning the basket and drip tray and I like the presets and digital readout! You can't beat this price! It takes a little playing with to find all the tricks to using one of these, but trust me after a week you will find you are using almost every day!

Maybe I'm wrong but this look like something you could do just as well in the oven as in this buiky and expensive appliance.  Especially if you have a convection oven.

The CE fryer has a 60 day warranty. The Emeril's has a 1 Year warranty. You may want to check a Black and Decker air fryer.
