@millieshops wrote:@wifey2qt I'm a local shopper and right now I have no problem at all shopping from my own closets. Just about the only national chain that doesn't have a brick and mortar presence within a 5 mile radius of my home is Nieman Marcus and I don't shop there.
There's so little interesting to me in the stores that I sometimes head to the mall just to walk in the A/C. Seems like they are all selling off what I would have rejected even back in the years when I was buying and buying and buying. I'm over that.
@millieshops I was recently in my local Belk which is pretty much where I end up shopping, and there was nothing of interest. I wanted to buy something and there was just nothing I would wear. I have looked at the websites of the other shops in the outdoor complex it is in and nothing there of interest either. I used to so enjoy browsing clothes even if I wasn't able to buy. Now, it's just disappointing.
As far as TSV's go, I'm just finding them boring. I don't wear lounge clothes. I have at least 3 vacuum cleaners. We do need a mattress, but I just can't imagine a mattress in a box having the structure needed for my husband. I'm not interested in Christmas stuff. The Susan Graver blazer was nice, but I'm past wearing blazers. I do dress up for church, but a blazer just isn't my style. I might've worn one for work when I was working in an office environment, and it is good to have clothing options for people who don't want to dress down all the time.
Something I find interesting is the hosts often wear very pretty shoes, but the shoes offered are never like that. I'm talking heels. They have plenty of cute and not so cute sneakers or flats or booties, but I never see a 3" heel offered, but the hosts wear them. The Susan Graver host the other night, I think it was Jennifer Coffey, had a a really cute pair or chunky high heels. I've never seen anything like that offered on the Q.
@Icegoddess Have you searched the QVC website? I just did a quick search with the filter 3" heel height and 82 items came up including these.

I don't know about overstocked, but they seem to have been generally uninspired. Not sure what if anything they gained by not allowing us to purchase them a day or two ahead of time. Certainly the "today only" factor doesn't lend any glamour to a set of tee shirts or pajamas.

I completely agree! I have looked for the shoes hosts are wearing on QVC, I can't find them. I like my comfy shoes, but I also want a cute pair of heels to wear on the weekend.
I might only be speaking for myself, but I am so over tunics. Why does every top have to be so long and shapeless? I end up sending all of them back. The TSV today was an easy pass for me.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned on this thread; however, if I see something the host is wearing, I search for "Hosts Closet." I have found some items there previously.
Hope this does the trick!
Much luck --

@Tori3569 perhaps I should've said that I had never seen high heels presented. I don't generally go on the QVC site and just browse for things. Occasionally I will browse clearance or a particular brand that I like. Most of what I buy is stuff I see presented. So, if they're not presenting it, I'm probably not buying it.

@EarthAngelInTraining where do you do this search, in the main search bar? I'm not familiar with that at all.

@Icegoddess I never merely wait for QVC to present items on air. If I'm looking for something, I do a search.
QVC only likes to put on air what they think the majority of shoppers will buy. Meaning, the same thing over and over again.
However, at the top of the webpage, you can click on SHOP, then click on SHOES, then you can browse the sub-category of what you want. Sandals, Pumps, Wedges, etc. are all available. You can then filter by heel height, color, etc.
Here are just some that are styles Amy & Courtney seem to like. I selected Sandals, then heel height 3" to 4" to get these. This is the tip of the iceberg; there are loads of styles on QVC.
