Can someone please explain to me why someone would buy a twin sheet set for the same price as a California King?   It just doesn't make sense.

Re: TSV sheets has me confused.

Maybe the people ordering California King are paying the same price as twin.

Re: TSV sheets has me confused.

Usually QVC has sheets in various prices based on the size.  BUT when this happens, they usually don't have twin included.  I will not pay for twin sizes when the CA king is the same price.....just refuse to!!

Bookbabe.....I was going to post the same question ! I just don't

understand why all sizes are priced the same. Anyone buying

Twin or Full are not getting a break ! Does anyone know the

reasoning behind this? Just Crazy !!

Re: TSV sheets has me confused.

I think you can answer that question by researching the price of equivalents at other retailers who usually sell individual pieces rather than sets.  I just did a quick check at BB&B.  The twin size was approx $30 each for fitted bottom & flat top.  So that's $60 already, without the pillowcases.  Pricing goes up with each subsequent size.

Re: TSV sheets has me confused.

Maybe because they want tht particular fabric or color?

I think it's been 25 years since I bought any twin sheets but when I see them advertised they all seem to be cartoon characters or little girl rainbows.  Perfect for what they're intended, but if for somereason I wanted new twins, I'd just pay up - divided over 25 years or more, it wouldn't be a huge deal to me.

Re: TSV sheets has me confused.

I approach this the same way I do anything else I might consider buying from the Q.  What's the bottomline and can I get a better bottomline price somewhere else.  If the answer is Q has the best price, and I needed new twin sheets, I would buy them.  Why would I pass up the best price I can get because someone else is saving more than me?  Sort of cutting off your nose isn't it?

Re: TSV sheets has me confused.

I notice that all the shopping channels generally sell all sizes of sheets for the same price.  Many sell blankets, comforters, mattress protectors and toppers for the same price regardless of size.

I guess I look at it like clothing.  On shopping channels, no matter your clothing size the price is the same.  XXS pays the same price as a 3X.

Re: TSV sheets has me confused.

I agree with the OP's question, and have made the comment before -- I will never pay the same for my twin sheets that someone else is paying for king!  The twin sets don't even have 2 pillowcases!  HOW can they keep trying to convince us that selling all sizes for the same price is a good deal?  It may be good for those who are buying the larger sizes, but not for those of us that need twin.  That's why I won't buy sheets from QVC -- Just not a good value for me.
