Re: TSV dress today

[ Edited ]

My shape is straight up and down with no butt to speak of. The TSV dress would not look good on me and it would just make my butt look even more flat.

ETA-

I read, in two different articles lately, that all-over large-scale prints (especially florals) are aging. Smaller-scale prints are more youthful and large prints only for a top/bottom or accessory and not for an entire outfit/dress.

The prints she comes up with are HIDEOUS. The material lshe uses looks CHEAP.

I love Renee's dresses.  They fit and flatter me wonderfully, I am 6'0" tall and wear size medium tall.  Especially love when she incorporates godets into the design.  Her prints/patterns are beautiful and unique, they allow me to expand my wardrobe from the basics.  I ordered qty 3 of TSV dress.  Cannot wait to get them!!!

Leah! Yikes!

Even Renee's tummy is sticking out in the dress. The prints are loud esp with the 3rd piece.

I won't wear sleeves like this anyway. I am tall and thin and I wouldn't wear it, looks old fashioned to me.

I really like this dress, I am leaning towards the Wild Sapphire. My problem is that I carry my extra weight in my mid section, so I would definitely have to wear a shrug or lightweight cardigan over it....

I love Dresses and skirts, especially in the Spring/Summer months-so easy and refreshing!

"Como jersey" is just a fancy name for polyester 😉

I love Renee's dresses. I purchased three maxi dresses last year and wore them all summer.

I do NOT have a model's figure but am happy with the fit!  Smiley Happy

I'm considering buying this but am hesitating due to the fact it's "midi" so unsure whether to buy a petite or regular. The other tough choice is what pattern? I like them all and think they are very pretty.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I wanted to post my positive review so if anyone is on the fence, they might consider purchasing it.

I have never found anything in her line that I can picture myself wearing.  So I'll be passing on the TSV.

Perhaps if I had an "occasion" coming up (which I never do), I would be willing to try one of these dresses, however, I don't do all black anymore and do not like the prints.  The fabric is off-putting to me also.

Enjoy wearing if they suit your style! Cat Wink

I don't care for Renee's line.  For some reason it has never worked out for me.  I find the materials awful and everything I had tried has either been returned or donated.  Everything clings on me in the midsection, that is a deal breaker for me and I'm not big.  I don't like her prints either, they are too wild for my style.

@LindaSal    I love prints but there isn't a single one offered in the TSV that I would wear on a bet.  Moot point though as I don't wear dresses.

Renee's Cuomo jersey is similar to SG Liquid Knit but is rougher, more clingy and obviously a much lesser quality fabric.  You can feel the difference when you have both in hand.
