I hope this doesn’t sound like a dumb question. Why are the TSVs the same vendors over and over? Susan Graver. D and C. Patricia Nash. Lug. Kim Gravel. Isaac M. Etc etc. is there a reason that say Indina Menzel is never a TSV? Even though she’s expensive. I know obviously Joan Rivers and Jeanne Bice have passed away but don’t their companies still make clothes for the Q?

I'm only guessing......but, I would think the Q chooses popular brands that generate a LOT of sales.

I think it also has to do with the vendor’s ability to provide a large enough batch of the TSV, which has to be probably at a minimum of 25,000-30,000. I miss the Quacker Factory TSVsthat Angel used to have. Dooney & Burke used to sponsor TSVs also, but not anymore.

Q has been showing the same dozen products, or variations of, for several years now. Most of us could probably recite their presentations.

Some are Qvc-owned brands and many others are Xcel Brands. Maybe why we see those often as Tsvs

I'm pretty sure it's because the Tsv's go to vendors that will a lot of merchandise.  It's all about sales.  You have to remember QVC is a huge retailer and everything is about profit.

@ShortyLugNut Like @livinthelife101 says, it's mostly about the quantity they can obtain. I know they want enough merchandise to get through most of the day, yet still sell out.

However, I don't believe anybody on these boards has the inside knowledge to know the why's of QVC. Everything would be speculation. Interesting question though.

There's a video online on a retail website interviewing a QVC manager who decides what products (vendors) get on air.  She said, those that sell the most.

She wasn't referring to TSV's, just everyday products, but I expect her answer to apply to TSV's, as well.

So tired of seeing the TSV almost every hour. Example: the Bernini hose.
