Re: TSV Koolabura “SHOE”

There are many of these styles around.  The sole is what makes them more sandal that slipper.  Others have a flat sole that definitely look more like slippers.  The TSV has more of a lug/outdoor sole.

Koolaburra has similar styles, that look even more appropriate for outdoor.  The addition of a backstrap or metal buckle makes the difference for me.  I showed my niece the TSV, but we then searched online and she preferred the ones directly below instead.  The prices we found are $49.95, $49.95, ans $42.95, respectfully.

This fuzzy (and shearling) sandal thing has been around for a while and I definitely think it is more popular with the younger set.

Generally I don't care for polyester fuzz.

Re: TSV Koolabura “SHOE”

I've been wearing similar "shoes" from Vionics for years now.  They are what I always thought of as bedroom slipppers.  I love them, but would never think of them for wearing with street clothes.  The most outdoor wear mine get is to go out and get the mail!  To each their own.

Re: TSV Koolabura “SHOE”

I would never wear them as a shoe. I don't like the look of the sole & I don't want open fuzzy slippers. QVC has come up with some weird TSV's lately.

Re: TSV Koolabura “SHOE”

Dangerous........last year bought a pair of fuzzy ones like this as slippers.  With each and every step I almost landed on the floor.

Fuzzy footbed offers NO stability - foot slides forward  w/each step.....  and nothing to stop foot from going straight through the toe hole.

Suggestion:  if older - have stability problems........stay away from these!

I think they are making a killing on knock-off Uggs.  People who want Uggs, want Uggs.  Not the dumbed down version.

They'll look and feel fabulous when the fur is all mushed down, clumped up and dirty. Just buy a cheap open shoe and wear a fuzzy sock. At least you'll get your money's worth out of those.

Re: TSV Koolabura “SHOE”

I totally agree they don't appear to be a Spring/Summer shoe or slipper.  Don't consider these "special" to be a TSV.  The fact they won't ship until March 12, well, that seems ridiculous for the weather getting warmer.  Just not my style.  Not my TSV.

@Caaareful Shopper My first thought on seeing the pic of the tan/brown pair you posted, was of The Flintstones.
