@PamfromCT wrote:I am certainly not a raving beauty nor a makeup expert.
I have very fair skin and have always avoided much sun when I was young, now wear spf every day. I do not have age spots, but have always has dark circles. I do cover my dark circles, using IT Bye Bye Under Eye, tapped on very lightly. but do not need concealer for dark spots on my skin I don’t have.
I am in my late 70s, few wrinkles, but have skin sagging. Never had a desire to go under the knife. I use Peter Thomas Roth Retinol, followed by Perricone at night. I use Lancome Genifique during the day, purchased on HSN’s 2 for 1 once a year. I really like it. Different brands of eye creams. I use Perricone neck cream.
I do do think it would be interesting for different posters to talk about their issues, what products they use, and how they work for them.
My thoughts are that regular skin care for your type is more important that what brand of makeup you use. Just me!
Start a new thread about this, @PamfromCT . I think many ladies would find it helpful and would also share their ideas.
I am not sure how many will see your post in this thread about the TSV.

I think the TSV looks like an expensive knock off the Maybelline Age Rewind only too greasy/shiny looking.
I also noticed on the presentation at midnight that the model using the darkest shade looked good when they showed her the first time. Everything was concealed. When she took it off and then reapplied it, it didn't cover as well. You could still see what she was trying to cover.
I wasn't impressed. The vendor's makeup is usually spot on. Last night she looked WAY too greasy and shiny.
Pass for me. Enjoy if you try it. I hope it works for you!

I have a drawer full of concealors that do not conceal the one brown spot on my cheak that I bought them for. I get confused by what shade to buy.... too many choices... and then they end up in the do not work drawer with the rest of them. SO FRUSTRATIING.

@snipsnapsnur I use facial cleansing oil to remove everything. I used Tatcha, Josie and now I just use a drugstore brand. It removes everything, even mascara. I then double wash using a non oil cleanser when I wear a faceful of makeup. I used to wear IT products and no problem. I don't like Philosophy PMS.
Thank you!

@snipsnapsnur For me, I always use liquid foundations and the Tarte Shape Tape. Like you, I use Purity Made Simple -- but it only takes off about 90% of my makeup. Regardless of what Philosophy says in their presentations, it does not remove 100% makeup. But for me it's better than balms or other face cleaners I've tried.
I always follow up with Dr. Nassif's Detox Pads (available on HSN). One pad to get the remaining makeup off, and a 2nd pad to make sure it wipes absolutely clean, and there's zero makeup on my face & neck. Plus, my face loves the Alpha/beta hydroxy in the pads.
Thank you. So hard to get off makes me not want to use it, lol!

The pea green eyeglasses are so distracting on Shawn. There are shows I might actually watch but I can't get past certain hosts.
I find most concealers and even foundation show the models eye wrinkles more when they wear it. You can really see in the before and afters.
I have one age spot on lower cheek that I cover with Laura Geller BNB using a sponge stick. Then I apply it all over. I have never used concealer and rarely liquid foundation.
I am fortunate not to have dark circles or puffy eyes.
