I purchased the same item in February and paid $57.50 for Nine , 5oz breasts! Why are they charging $69.99 for the same thing? I wouldn’t consider this a “Special Value “ at all!!!!

@jrseygrl134

Did you not hear about the disease affecting chickens and how many were culled?  A sad situation.  Hopefully, the business will recover.  If you want chicken, it's a seller's market.

@jrseygrl134    Wow, do you the price has perhaps increased because there's a shortage of chicken causing all poultry product prices to increase?

Considering inflation, costs to ship food and the other reasons already mentioned...I am surprised the price increase wasn't higher.

Don't care.  Best chicken I have ever had.

Yes @jrseygrl134 , I am fully aware of previous prices. I am also fully aware of the chicken issues and the terrible economy. I purchased these exact chicken patty's when they were the same price as the TSV but I received 24. I purchased the 18 count today on AD.

If people stopped buying items where the prices have increased we would have very little to eat. I love having these on hand. My kids will stop by unannounced and I they love this chicken. I either fry or put in my air fryer and can put them in a salad or on buns for a sandwich. Or, just serve with gravy. They are so nice to have on hand for the unexpected company. I also love them in my salads.

You are paying for the convenience of having them on hand. I am sure labor is included in the price. It just depends on what you are willing to spend.

Yes, the price has increased significantly. I used to be on a-d when the price was $99 for 24, when my plan ran out there was a day last fall when they offered 18 for $99.50. Since I love these, I ordered a-d for 18 today so that my price would go through next April, instead of this fall. I always take advantage of the larger sizes as it is much less per piece-this time saving almost $2.50 per breast! Remember, the cost of shipping is included, which is not insignificant. Dry Ice, I recently discovered, is very expensive. So all in all, for me, paying $5.50 for a prepared entree that is so versatile is absolutely worth it. I do recommend purchasing the larger size.

I would probably be a target audience for this food.  I'm not a great coook.  I cook simple meals every day for myself but pretty boring,  but very healthy.  I'm not much of a foodie - food is something I look at as filling up the empty space when I'm hungry.   It isn't that important to me.   If it was I'd probably spend more time in the kitchen making abd trying different recipes.  Those chicken patty's do look delicious, however.   I'm having Atlantic salmon with broccoli as my vegetable.  Maybe some brown rice too.

Enjoy your purchases.  Bon Apetit

Its sreiking in this thread the different attitudes of posters. Some are condescending, some are empathetic, some are just reporting the facts. Very telling.

Agree with you about the convenience of having them I did go for the 18 on auto delivery. Just knowing that I will have them in the freezer  gives me peace of mind as we don't get to the supermarket as often and when I do nothing looks appealing ,guess maybe that comes with aging.  Had them a few years ago  and remember how easy it was to have a meal that was so tasty and quick to make. With the price of shipping and everything going up in price and the biggest plus that it is  coming  right to my  door.
