I had read a lot of negative comments on the Cook's Essential air fryer and am now hesitant to use mine.

I thought the same thing.

I bought his last air fryer TSV. I use it regularly, but have to share that the cake pan didn’t last long. The black coating blistered and wore off, exposing shiny metal underneath. Looked on the internet for a replacement, but the cost was prohibitive for such a small pan. Had to throw it out and found something similar at Bed, Bath & Beyond.
If you want a big fryer, check out The following on Evine. It’s a big daddy!

It looks so big, storage would be an issue for me.

I have a Cook's Essentials and love mine, I use it all the time. It's great for reheating leftovers.

I had Emeril’s other air fryer for over a year before I passed it on and never had any problem with any flaking or chipping inside. I never used metal utensils in it. I gave it to my grandson and his wife and they do not have any problems either.
I also have the larger Cooks Essentials one and love it. No problem with the basket in this one either. No problem inserting the basket in either air fryer. We use the air fryer every week and love it. Cooks Essentials no longer has the large one.
I just emailed my daughter and if she wants Emeril’s new air fryer I will buy it for an early Christmas gift. This also has a 1 year warranty on it.

This isn't an item I'm interested in, but I do know that a lot of the small appliance items that are made for celeb chefs, tv shop channels, etc, are made by the same companies, so it could very well be the same machine that was made under the CE label.

It looks HUGE. A thing like that needs it's own garage....lol!

The top is at an angle. I noticed that the safety video stated not to put anything on top of the air fryer. I guess by angling it, they have stopped people from putting things on top the fryer.
