Re: TSV But no V

[ Edited ]

Return It. It's that simple. It did not come with what it was suppose to come with so return it. Take it to the post office & pay to have it shipped back with Insurance. Don't use the label Q provides. They will receive it faster plus your credit will be issued faster if you pay for your own label instead of using the one Q provides. You will get a full credit of what you paid.

Did you purchase one of the computers that came with Office or did you purchase one that did not come with it? QVC offered 2 15" laptops one with Office one without. They also offered a 17" laptop which one came with Office & one does not come with it.

Office only came with the more expensive 15" & 17" laptops.

Item#E233280.

Alice-QVC has replied on another thread the OP started on this in Community that the OP should be receiving the software package on the 14th.

There's a reason that engineer and computer tech DH, just ordered us new laptops with our  his specs directly from HP.

You don't wind up with software, etc., you either don't want, need or receive.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

@LetItGo  I understand that you're annoyed that you didn't get what you paid for.QVC will take back the laptop & probably pick up the shipping charges as well. I don't see what the problem is.

A couple of years ago I ordered my son a laptop from QVC. It was during the extended holiday return period. After a few weeks the laptop slowed to a snails pace.It was worse than the 6 year old one it replaced!! I phoned customer service & they took it back .No hassles. They paid for all return charges.I chose a refund rather than a replacement.

I think you're upsetting yourself for nothing.A mistake was made. You didn't get what was promised. They seem to be having a problem getting you the software.Just return the darn thing.Either go for a replacement or a refund & purchase elsewhere.

You are right. I more than learned my lesson; I should have let go of QVC the first time they failed me. I will no longer be ordering from QVC. Glad you pointed that out for me and others who mistakenly think QVC might get better. Clearly, QVC cannot figure it out.

The Microsoft Office package has still not been receive. Not sure why QVC keeps telling me and this "community" that they have resolved the issue.

Exactly. Which I had conducted my business elsewhere.

NicksMom, I really want to take your advice, but I am terrified that if I send back the computer, QVC is simply to inept to send me the correct computer or refund my money. I have been burned to much, even with just this item, to trust them. I wish I could trust the process, but I just cannot, since QVC has completely clueless about resolving this. And, I have also been given multiple answers from QVC on this one issue. Hard to trust.

I would take it back to UPS and get a receipt. It will have the tracking number and you can follow it back to the destination. I would not keep defective merchandise due to fear.  Quit procrastinating and send it back. You will have peace of mind and go elsewhere to buy the computer.
