I have been looking at throws.

The time we need these happens to be now.

So I ordered one for Christmas for DH and one for me. (Snake print and leopard print)

The reviews on sites for your typical throws are not good including remarks like "thin" or "smells"

So my fingers are crossed for these.
And, imo, the colors of choices for most I'm finding on popular sites have been washed out looking and I am so hoping that these will be up to par!

I'm just trying to decide colors, I'm leaning toward Buffalo check.

Now, let's just hope we get them before cold weather is gone, LOL!

I'm in S/E coastal GA and we don't have much cold weather here, usually it's upper 70s-80 on Christmas Day!

I got his and hers throws for my son and DIL.  Selected the red plain (festive for the holidays) and the more sophisticated ivory/zebra for their neutral-themed living room in their city apartment.  It is an added bonus that it is a "favorite thing" because it makes a nice story at gift-giving time.

Uggh, plaid not plain. I was really torn between the plaid and the buffalo check.

I haven't seen these presented on air yet but they look nice. I did read that they are one of Oprah's favorite things for 2019. I like the blush marble.

here is the rest of my story!

DH was having a snoring night!

After a couple of light "shoves" from me, he got up and went to sleep on the sofa. It was cold that night.

When I discovered him curled up under our small faux fur throw, I wondered where all of our blankets had gone?

There is a good chance previous blankets went to charity! {or to DDs household}

So these should be handy and keep us fashionably warm in the months to come!
