Re: Susan Graver TSV - October 7, 2024

I bought this jacket, the blue one, last year.  It's not a bad jacket, imho.  Think that's the only repetitive color from before.

I wanted a coat that wasn't too warm, yet hooded, for snow shovelling as I get too hot in a heavier coat.  It fits just right - roomy enough and since I'm vertically challenged, the length is just right.

I also like that it's lightweight - good for shovelling and washing/drying quickly.

It's not my "fashion statement" jacket, but good for working around the house.

Well, I can find two problems with this jacket, and one plus, in that at least it has a hood, a requirement for a coat in the PNW.  But it's too short, your tukus is going to get wet in the rain, and the quilted side is only water-resistant, so after a short period of time, your whole body would be wet.  Easy pass from this webfooted Pacific Northwesterner.

@CamilleP   You just made me smile.  Haven't heard or used the term TUKUS in forever. Thanks for the sweet memories!!!

No Thanks, very dated looking and not very good colors to me...It is a nice length though.

I wish she'd revisit the bonded fleece reversible jackets, adding a hood and some extra length to cover your rear. I thought that was a great fabrication. To me, many of hers aren't quite long enough and I'm petite.

It's an easy pass for me. I don't care for the style or the fabric.

Good price for a reversible, hooded jacket.

I was surprised about this pricing.

Not a bad color choice, too.

I'm still deciding which color or print option to order.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

@nyc1   Glad I could bring a smile to your day!  I remember first hearing that word from Dr. Hawkeye Pierce on M.A.S.H., and it seemed to me to be a much nicer, less insulting euphemism than any other word referring to that portion of one's anatomy, so I've used it, albeit sparingly, ever since.

I think you could do better than this coat. It's pretty basic and hum drum.

Boring, dated, and overpriced - looks like a $20 jacket.
