Re: Susan Graver TSV - October 7, 2024

I wondered why it was so inexpensive - a rerun with mediocre reviews. Makes sense now.

Re: Susan Graver TSV - October 7, 2024

I would have been interested in this TSV as a "taking the dogs out" kind of coat.  However, I don't care for the prints or colors; I wouldn't know what size to order (because Susan's things run large and they make TSVs even larger), and finally, I don't like reversible jackets.  I would only wear the weather side out and that would mean the inside of the sleeves would be fleece.  You can't slide into fleece sleeves when you are wearing a long sleeve top, which is what  you obviously would be wearing given the garment is for fall/winter.

I would have been interested in the black but I don't care for hokey "patchwork" prints.

I'm not a fan of this coat at all.  I don't care for the style or the colors.  Very disappointing

When a few people give a product a low rating I take it with a grain of salt. Some people are just very picky. However, when there are so many 1 & 2 star ratings, like this jacket, I pass on the item.

I'm not impressed either, another SG coat.......I don't know what I was hoping for but I was a bit disappointed.  I agree with others, old product, poor reviews, and just clearing out inventory.   It would be nice if the TSV was something new and exciting instead of old things that are not selling.  Seems this is happening more and more on the Q.  Anyway, I have followed what I like to call the "4 star rule".   If it has less than 4 stars, I don't purchase.  Easy peasy.

Since I am terminally short armed, I went to check the measurements.  What is with the "Inseam" given in the pics?

Finally a tsv that I like. I don't need it but if I did I would certainly purchase. I bought a Susan Graver reversible washable coat years ago and it is still my go to coat and still get compliments on it.

Re: Susan Graver TSV - October 7, 2024

I owned a similar jacket years ago that I got on QVC, either George Simonton, Koos, or something similar. It was brocade on one side with a quilted velvet type fabric on the other. It didn't have a zipper but some beautiful buttons and no hood. I wore the heck out of it for probably 15 years or so, then finally gave it up. This looks to be no comparison, seeming that both sides look to be simply the inside of a jacket; the seams just look like they're bunching to me. I don't purchase this brand so these are only my observations from watching online. For those who purchase, I hope you love it!
