Everything it seems this fall/winter is faux leather. The Q must have a warehouse full that they have to use up. It just looks dated and hot, as in temperature. I don't wear real or faux leather, so my funds are safe, once again.

The TSV jacket isn't making my heart go pitty-pat, too boxy for me. I like the laser cutting and have another ponte jacket from SG that is laser-cut on the bottom edge, very pretty. Anyway, don't care for the coordinating slacks to the TSV, either. But, I did buy the faux wool jacket they just showed in the red and received it yesterday. It's like a deep chili pepper red and not as bright as it looks on the TV. The red is a tomato red, orange-red, not a true blue-red. No stretch in the fabric, though, go up in size if you're between sizes.
The Draper's & Damon's catalog has many styles very similar to the SG line but prices are higher. The quality of their clothing is pretty nice. Clearance prices are decent. I could swear I've seen a laser-cut jacket in their catalog.

What is with the faux leather, suede, and now wool? I would never wear anything with faux on it. Faux anything cheapens the garment in my opinion. The faux in clothing certainly doesn't bring down the price.

I don't like faux leather (plastic) clothing so that's always a big no for me.
I own quite a few other jackets and one full length coat, so I don't need another one.
That said, I have a back lamb leather jacket that is the same style and collarless like the TSV. It is a bit shorter, though.
I do like the style and wear it a lot. If it was real leather, the berry sangria jacket would be tempting.

from the back it reminds me of a hanging vinyl shower curtain. Not the look I'm going for.

The cut is off, sleeves look really long and it looks like a plastic bag.
I'm guessing they'll be a lot of returns.
@Grand Happy I agree about the sleeves. I thought the sleeves looked too long on Jane Treacy and Susan when I watched the midnight video. I just thought they wore the Regular instead of the Petite. But I don't even know if the Petite shortens the sleeves, or just the full vertical length of the jacket though.

No faux leather for me. Been there, done that, and learned my lesson. SG, DB, and others .... they all peeled.

@ALRATIBA I will trust faux leather by a great brand that I feel I can trust. Tuckernuck and J. McLaughlin sell magnificent "vegan leather." But you'll pay $250 or $300 and up for one top or bottom. QVC cannot sell that quality because the masses won't pay that price for faux leather. QVC only mass produces everything.
Also, I never buy anything that's only trimmed in faux leather, or mixed media faux leather. They definitely use the lowest version of faux leather when it's used as a trim, or collar, or front, etc. Any faux leather trimmed garment I've ever had peeled or cracked.
