How loud is it? I think our county is set to impose noise restrictions and I have no idea what is usually acceptable. Anybody have experience or knowledge about noise levels? Thanks.

not as loud as a gas powered blower

try a search for decibel levels for electric blowers

I have this and I wouldn't want to be without it -- I love it.  I have a large patio with my garden apartment.  It not only works great on the ground, but blows leaves and all the tree stuff completely off my outdoor rug in short order.

I'm considering this.

I have a blower now, but even though it's mostly plastic, it's heavy.  Well, as I've gotten older it's gotten heavier!☺️  And the battery seems to be getting wonky so it might give out anytime.  I definitely need a working blower this time of year as I have a lot of trees and so a lot of leaves falling.

I have a small SunJoe chainsaw and I love it.

ETA:  I ordered it.  I went out and used the one I have and sure enough, it started acting up on a full charge.  So I know it won't be long before it quits completely.  The SunJoe is a good price with the battery included and I can use the battery I already have with it too.  Timely offering for me.

Re: Sun Joe TSV - September 4, 2025

I have a SunJoe/Martha Stewart leaf blower I purchased years ago,   It works great but it is corded so I have two heavy duty extension cords so I can get to all the areas of my property,   If I could justify needing another one, I'd probably buy this but I can't justify it.  I think these are a must have.   We have tons of trees around the property and while beautiful, they make a mess.

I'm tempted to get this as the price is good and it seems easy to use. The only reason why I'm hesitating is the run time. 12 minutes and 40 seconds, really? That's hardly anything. I know they recommend buying an extra battery, but that will give you only another 12 minutes. I still may buy it, but I wish they could do better on the run time.

For something at this price point and this lightweight and powerful, the run speed seems to be comparable to other similar models from other brands.

Re: Sun Joe TSV - September 4, 2025

Good price for this blower. Maybe buy an extra battery for more run time, but I could get by nicely with the 12 minutes. My SunJoe products are excellent, especially the grass clippers. I also have hedge trimmers and two of the portable beach/sport umbrellas. For me, a lower powered blower is a necessity for clearing leaves, pine straw and mulch from patio, porch and walks. The big gas blowers used by the yard crews are way too strong, like a hurricane.
