@beach-mom , I have every one of these tools a,though they are not Sun Joe.  I assume the batteries are interchangeable which is a big plus.

Re: Sun Joe TSV (Four of Them) - February 13, 2024

I bought a Sun Joe product a while back, some sort of edger. I got it in the winter and, by the time spring rolled around and I could use it, it lasted one time before dying. It had too much plastic in it and the motor completely died. At the time, QVC wasn't carrying the product any longer and I had no luck finding them online. This was probably six months after purchase. I suppose this is good for those who have small yards with little work needing to be done. These tools just don't have enough power for me.

easy pass   i would think the quality is sorely lacking....

i would never buy anything like this from Q  (electronics, food, mattresses ), i am sure there is more....

what a hassle it would be to return

easier to buy from HD, Costco etc...

Re: Sun Joe TSV (Four of Them) - February 13, 2024

I took a look at these and considered them but looking at the description of the blower & it takes 5 hours to charge the battery & the run time (stated in their description) is only 12 minutes!

Not enough. I prefer the 40V tools since the run time is better even if the battery is a bit heavier. Last year I bought a replacement hedgetrimmer (another brand) that is 40V. It has good power & it lasts.

All the sun joe stuff looks junky to me.  My husband uses Stihl products.

I use my blower a lot but feel this one does not have enough power.  I will stick with my plug in one.

Every single Sun Joe item I've purchased a garden hose, blower, chainsaw and hedger. All have been absolutely disastrous. I've learned my lesson. Say no to Sun Joe.

@Carolina925 I got the Sun Joe air compressor for Christmas a couple years ago, the one that looks like a cordless drill. I tried to use it one time and it would not shut off, it ran and ran. Tried putting it back on the charger after it finally shut off and it never worked again. Went in the garbage. The Gifter had bought it way in advance for Christmas, so the warranty was over. Never again. We only buy Worx brand tools for outside.
