Someone suggested googling another site to see the Josie Maran special.  I did that and while I was there I saw a photo of the Spenco TSV.  It looked like "plastic" pool shoes (slides).

Thanks @santorini! I've developed a real liking for Spenco, but I have plenty of pool slides. We'll see!

I love navy in the summer, so that's the combo I went with. I'm thrilled I'll be able to get them wet - beach, pool, rain, and messy Boardwalk. I can wash them at night and they'll be ready to go the next morning!

This plastic slide looks like one that would sell at Walmart for $10. Cute colors though.

I love shoes like this for camping, around a pool, etc. because they can easily be washed off and they aren't slippery.  However, I don't need 2 pair of them and I prefer a thong.  Slides like this are always too wide for my feet.

@CJC   I know my podiatrist years ago recommended Spenco inserts for me -  so far that advice hasn't changed. 

  Any idea what the support is in the cheapies from elsewhere ?

@millieshops none.  I own a pair of birkenstock look alikes from Walmart.  They are nothing at all like the real thing.

There's no comparison to all of those look-alike, slides-on-a-hook plastic sandals at those other stores.  The foot support of Spenco footwear is key & fantastic for your feet.  They are truly beneficial.
