I'm a big fan of glass files. I got one probably 15-20 years ago that I carry in my bag all the time since, when I leave the house, my nails are fine but throughout the day one has decided to break or crack. I've dropped mine hundreds of times and it's not broke so far. Watch, today it will! I'm getting this. Not sure if the price is good or not; don't know the brand or whatever I could compare it with. I use one of the "grater" type implements on my dry heels but really need to do it nearly every day to keep my heels smooth. I'm hoping it will fill my needs.

I just bought the clipper on Regine's website for $19.95 free s&h. Don't want to need the other things QVC is offering for the TSV.

I get my nails done every two weeks. I could never get the hang of doing a great job myself so I have been going to the same person for years.
She was just out of beauty school in her early twenties when I first started going to her and now she has a daughter in college.

I keep using the broken pieces...they still work. They are expensive for what they are.
You can get them much cheaper elsewhere. Amazon is a good source.
have purchased glass files on amazon, but you can just see and feel the quality is not the same. there is a reason why the no name brands are cheaper in regards to this product.
i have several sets and keep them everywhere......bedroom, bathroom, purse, travel case, car.....none of mine have broken, knock on wood.
i also have the regine brand, but really like the sparific brand a bit better.

@sunshine45 I purchased these glass files from QVC and they were expensive. I got three of them. One large for pedicures and heels, one medium for nails and one small for my purse. They all came with a sheath for protection.
The two largest ones broke and I never dropped them. I still have the small one in my purse.
The cheaper no name ones have lasted longer. I have had a cheap one for many years I bought while on vacation for $1.
I have a manicure license, so I surely know how to use a file. Cheap ones are just as good as the expensive ones as long as they are made from glass and not plastic.
Plastic works fine, but the course was wears down and they become too smooth to use anymore.

I have a set of these from quite a long time ago. QVC It was a set of two each in cases etc.
Never had them break on me.

Love these files. I've never tried their clipper so I'll see how that is, but I've used the nail files for some time and love them. Work well and leve the edges nice and smooth. I actually purchased a number of sets of just the nail files to give for Christmas gifts. I've purchased some other highly rated ones from Amazon and they were a lot rougher and, to me, not nearly as good as these files.
